Innerside is a hackathon project that enables parents to easily learn about child psychology through short-form videos. To design the MVP in just 2 days, I closely collaborated with a user researcher, product manager, and engineers, delivering the developed MVP within the given timeframe

Learn with recommended contents

Users can consume recommended contetns by input their preference on their onboarding process

Learn about children psychology from child therapists

Short-from video shorther than 1 minute allow the users to learn easily about children psychology. Users can search the topics they want.

Follow the therapists you like and book a session

Users can follow the therapists they like, and later they can book a session of the therapists they followed

Initial Design Question

How can we remove barriers to accessing mental health professionals for the student population to reduce depression anxiety and suicide?

Who are our users and their goals?

Based on secondary research, we decided to focus on parents, who are key providers for their children, to identify appropriate support.

Design Decision 1

How can we help parents to book a session with the proper therapist?

I proposed two options: putting 'Book a Session' on the video or placing 'Book a Session' on the therapist's profile.

Design Decision 2

How can we help parents to find the contents they want efficiently?

I proposed two ways to search for content: one is by entering the search page from the bottom bar, and the other is through tags.

How can we build the trust with the contents?

To build trust for the content, I proposed adding comments and likes so that users can intuitively find evidence.
